A good Black Friday sale on OnlyFans pairs a limited-time subscription discount for new fans with PPV bundles for the fans you already have, and a deadline you stick to. Start planning two to three weeks ahead, and keep your best content at full price.

Fans are already in a spending mood that weekend and looking for deals everywhere, so a well-planned sale can bring a real jump in subscriptions and PPV sales. Run one without a plan, though, and you can cheapen your content and pull in bargain hunters who never spend again. This playbook covers how to avoid that.

Start planning early

The most common mistake is deciding on Wednesday evening to run a sale on Friday. A good Black Friday campaign starts two to three weeks before.

Your timeline could look like this:

  • Three weeks before: decide what you’re offering, set your discounts and start making any exclusive content for the sale.
  • Two weeks before: start hinting that something’s coming. Mention it on your socials, drop hints in DMs with your most engaged fans and build excitement without giving the details away.
  • One week before: announce the sale properly. Tell people the dates, what kind of deals to expect and exactly when it starts.
  • Black Friday to Cyber Monday: run the sale and promote it on every platform you use.
  • The week after: follow up with everyone who subscribed during the sale and start working on keeping them.

Planning early also gives you time to shoot the content you need in batches. Trying to film exclusive content while you’re running a sale is a quick route to burnout.

Subscription discounts vs PPV bundles

You’ve got two main options for a Black Friday sale, and the best plan usually uses both.

Subscription discounts

A subscription discount brings in new subscribers. OnlyFans lets you set a limited-time promotional price, and Black Friday is one of the few times a big discount really makes sense. New subscribers who join at the lower price still see your full back catalogue and get your messages, so you can turn them into PPV buyers.

PPV bundles

PPV bundles earn from the fans you already have. Put several pieces of content together at a price that’s clearly cheaper than buying each one separately. Fans get a deal, and you sell more content in one go.

Use the subscription discount to bring new people in and the PPV bundles to earn from your current subscribers. That way both groups have a reason to spend.

Calculating the right discount level

It’s easy to go too far one way or the other. A 70% subscription discount might bring in hundreds of new subscribers, but plenty of them could cancel when the price goes back up and never buy a single PPV. A 10% discount is barely noticeable and won’t get anyone to act.

For subscription discounts, somewhere between 25% and 40% off is a sensible range to test. It’s enough to feel like a real deal without pulling in people who don’t value your content at all. Check how many of those subscribers renew afterwards, and adjust next year.

For PPV bundles, think about how much fans feel they’re saving. As an example, if you’re bundling three videos that normally sell for $15 each, pricing the bundle at $30 to $35 gives a clear saving without halving your income.

If you want to try out different scenarios first, put the numbers through our pricing calculator and see how each discount level changes what you’d earn overall.

Creating genuine urgency

Promotions work because of deadlines. Without one, people think “maybe later” and never come back. The deadline has to be real, though.

Ways to create urgency for Black Friday:

  • A hard end date. Your sale ends at midnight on Cyber Monday. No extensions and no “one more day” posts. When it’s over, it’s over.
  • Limited slots. Offer the subscription discount to the first 50 or 100 new subscribers only, then the deal closes. OnlyFans lets you put a limit on a promotion, so it’s easy to set up.
  • Bundles that disappear. Make a PPV bundle that only exists for the weekend and is gone for good after Monday. Fans know they can’t get it later, which gives them a real reason to buy now.
  • Countdown posts. Post a countdown on your socials once or twice a day in the final days to build momentum.

Whatever you promise, stick to it. If you say the sale ends Monday and then stretch it to Wednesday, fans learn your deadlines don’t mean anything, and next time they won’t hurry.

Your pre-sale teaser strategy

Teasers make a big difference. Fans who are excited before the sale starts tend to buy faster and spend more.

Start dropping hints two weeks before. They don’t need to be elaborate.

  • “Something big is coming for Black Friday. My best deal of the year.”
  • Post behind-the-scenes shots of the content you’re making for the sale without showing what it is.
  • Tell your current subscribers they’ll get early access or a deal new subscribers won’t see.
  • Run polls on your socials, like “Would you rather have a PPV bundle deal or a subscription discount?” It gets people talking and shows you what your fans want.

By the time Friday comes, your fans should be expecting the sale and ready to buy straight away.

Avoiding content devaluation

This worry stops a lot of creators running sales, and it’s a fair one. Discount too often, too heavily or without a plan, and fans learn to wait for a sale instead of paying full price.

To protect your prices:

  • Run big sales only two to three times a year. Black Friday, your page anniversary and maybe one other event is plenty. If you run a sale every month, none of them feel special.
  • Never discount your top-tier content. Premium customs, exclusive one-to-one experiences and your highest-priced PPV stay at full price. The sale covers bundles, subscriptions or mid-range content.
  • Present it as a treat for fans. “I’m celebrating Black Friday with my fans” lands very differently from “Please subscribe, I’ll give you everything for nothing.”
  • Make content just for the sale. Put together exclusive bundles or themed sets that only exist for the promotion, so your regular content never looks discounted.

Promoting across platforms

Nobody buys from a sale they don’t know about. Over Black Friday weekend, post more often than usual on every platform you use.

Twitter/X

Post several times a day. Tease content from the bundles, share countdown updates and retweet anyone who mentions your sale. This isn’t the weekend to be subtle.

Instagram

Use Stories with countdown stickers and link stickers where you can, plus feed posts that show what fans will get.

Reddit

If you’re active in relevant subreddits, a well-placed post about your Black Friday deal can send you a lot of traffic. Follow each community’s rules and don’t spam. Our guide on promoting on Reddit covers the basics.

TikTok

It’s the strictest platform, but creative teasers can still get people curious. Lean on your personality and hints, and keep explicit promotion off it.

Your current subscribers

Don’t forget the fans you’ve already got. Send a mass message telling them about the PPV bundles. They’re the easiest people to sell to because they already like your content.

Measuring your results

After the weekend, look at more than the total you earned. Break it down.

Track how many new subscribers you gained, how many fans bought each PPV bundle, and what new subscribers spent on average compared with your usual fans. Check your subscriber retention at 7, 14 and 30 days, meaning how many sale subscribers are still with you, and which platform sent the most traffic. That last one matters most in the long run, because knowing where your best buyers come from tells you where to focus next time.

Our earnings calculator lets you compare your Black Friday period with your normal earnings to see what difference the sale made.

What happens after the sale

The subscribers you picked up over Black Friday joined at a discount. For the next month, your job is to give them enough reasons to renew at full price.

Send each of them a personal welcome message. Keep your content coming through December. Tease what you’ve got planned for the holiday season so they’ve got a reason to stay. And don’t hit them with PPV straight away. Let them settle in and explore your back catalogue before you start selling to them.

Once their discount runs out, count how many renew at full price and what they’ve spent since. Compare that with what the discount cost you, and you’ll know whether the sale paid off and what to change next year.

Making your Black Friday sale work

Black Friday works because people already expect deals and are ready to spend. You don’t have to convince anyone a sale is on. You need a clear offer, steady promotion and enough good content afterwards that new fans want to stay.

Plan early, test your discount levels and set a deadline you’ll keep. Promote hard across your platforms, and keep your best content at full price.
